The Dirt Devils Softball Organization puts together a high school spring travel team, for the girls that either didn't want to play high school or didn't make the team due to high numbers trying out. This team was started to keep these girls in shape waiting for their summer teams to start playing.

These teams travel to the Quad Cities area in Iowa to play in class 'A' tournaments and also play competitive round robins most every weekend. Our second year 3 teams placed in the top 3 of the tournaments and all qualified for nationals, but of course we did not except any bids because we release all players to go back to their respective travel teams. All girls are registered under Team Illinois with USSSA and then are officially released after the Spring season. All of the girls had a great time and improved their game tremendously. The teams practice 1-2 times a week and compete in 1 or 2 tournaments in addition to the round robins locally every weekend. We will also be looking for volunteer coaches to help out.

Evaluations will be on Sunday, March 10th with Pitchers and Catchers starting at 9am with check-in starting at 8:30am. All position players will be from 10am to 12pm with check-in starting at 9am at GenuWIN Sports Training located at 544 Anderson Dr. Romeoville IL. After the evaluations we then form all of the teams equally and begin to play.  Each year we have had girls playing that already had their college
scholarships. If you have any questions you can email Mike Jerman at
